We wanted to build a different kind of company—one where honesty isn’t a marketing slogan, respect isn’t reserved for easy situations, and every homeowner receives transparent advice, even if it means we don’t earn their business.

Idaho Edge Investments isn’t a giant corporation or an out-of-state investment company. We’re a local, family-run team that lives here, works here, raises our families here, and genuinely cares about the people behind every property.
We started Idaho Edge because we saw a need for something different; a way for homeowners to sell that felt less transactional and a lot more human.

Deyson & Emma Shaw
Founders
What started with a few house flips in early 2020 quickly grew into something much bigger: a shared love for real estate and a vision for building a family-owned company that does things a little differently.
For Deyson and Emma, Idaho Edge Investments has never been just about buying and renovating houses. It’s about the people behind them. Their goal is simple: treat people with respect, give homes a second chance, and find honest, creative solutions that leave everyone feeling good about the outcome.
Deyson is the kind of person who can walk into a room full of strangers and leave knowing everyone’s name and feeling like longtime friends. Hardworking, charismatic, and always willing to lend a hand, he brings extensive hands-on knowledge of renovations, property potential, and the real estate market. He has a knack for seeing what a home could be and figuring out how to get it there.
Emma is a licensed real estate agent who brings industry expertise, organization, and a serious attention to detail to the team. She’s the one keeping everything moving behind the scenes, from contracts and timelines to communication and all the little details in between. Her focus is making sure every transaction runs as smoothly as possible and that the people working with Idaho Edge feel informed, respected, and taken care of from beginning to end.
Together, Deyson and Emma bring different strengths to the table, but they share the same philosophy: do good work, treat people right, and leave homes, and the people connected to them, better than they found them.
Curt & Kim Wormsbaker
Renovation & Restoration Team
Every great transformation needs someone who can look at a house, see what it could be, and then figure out how to make it happen. For Idaho Edge Investments, that person is Curt, with Kim never far behind.
With decades of experience in home renovation, remodeling, and restoration, Curt is the guy we call when something needs to be figured out, fixed, rebuilt, or completely reimagined. His knowledge and craftsmanship are incredible, but his work ethic may be even more impressive. We’re convinced there isn’t a project too big, too complicated, or too far gone for him to tackle. More than once, we’ve watched him work what can only be described as a little bit of renovation magic.
Kim is Curt’s right hand and an essential part of the team. She jumps in wherever she’s needed and isn’t afraid to get her hands dirty. Whether she’s helping with the details, working alongside Curt, or doing whatever needs to be done to keep a project moving forward, Kim brings the same hardworking, can-do attitude to every home they take on.
When we first started working with Curt and Kim, we knew we had found incredibly talented people. What we didn’t expect was to find people who would become such an important part of Idaho Edge—and of our lives.
Today, they feel much less like contractors and much more like family. We feel incredibly fortunate to have them beside us as we give homes throughout Idaho the second chance they deserve.
Koby & Autumn Watkins
Operations & Project Team
Every team needs someone who keeps things moving, works harder than just about anyone in the room, and makes sure nobody takes themselves too seriously. For us, that’s Koby.
Koby is Deyson’s right-hand man, and one of his best friends, which means he’s equally comfortable working alongside him on a jobsite and giving him a hard time in the way only a best friend can. There’s rarely a dull moment when the two of them are working together.
But behind the jokes is one of the hardest-working people we know. Koby isn’t afraid to get his hands dirty, jump into whatever needs to be done, and keep pushing until the job is finished. His hands-on experience, practical knowledge, people-skills and ability to problem-solve make him an invaluable part of every project. He has a natural way of keeping people motivated, encouraging everyone around him to do their best, and making even the long days a little more fun.
Autumn brings that same willingness to jump in wherever she’s needed. From property cleanouts and painting to the countless little things it takes to get a home across the finish line, she’s never afraid of hard work. Her customer service experience also brings another valuable strength to the team—she’s friendly, dependable, and understands the importance of treating people well.
Koby and Autumn aren’t just people we work alongside; they’re great friends and an important part of the Idaho Edge family. They bring hard work, humor, loyalty, and a genuine willingness to help wherever they’re needed—and we wouldn’t want to do this without them.
